Thanks for stopping by!
I'm Varun and like most designers, I am a futurist.
The technology we have today is exciting, but the
capabilities we will have tomorrow are what steers
my motivations. The goal of being a part of an organization that works on cutting edge technologies is one of my biggest motivators to perform well and push out the best work possible.
I want to play a role in shaping emerging technologies through good design, but I understand that I cannot make impactful strides on my own. One of my key strengths is the ability to work in collaborative environments successfully, and this has helped me and the teams I have worked with go above and beyond expectations.
With a mission driven mindset guided by evidence based and user centered research methods, I aim to create beautiful and functional products that are delightful to use.
Here's a glimpse into my life!
One of my fondest memories of high school was sitting in the front row in Physics, sketching a modern reimagination of the Lamborghini Countach. My love for vehicles has only grown since, propelling me to sketch and render cars for fun, like this Ferrari 458.
It's no surprise that I'm a huge Formula 1 fan, and have been patiently waiting for Max Verstappen to take the World Drivers' Championship.
I also enjoy painting digitally and find it to be therapeutic. If my grad school schedule was a bit more forgiving, I would like to spend more time on this.
On a particularly slow weekend, you'd find me sipping a vanilla latte at a coffee shop in midtown Atlanta, sketching a product for #weeklydesignchallenge on Instagram.
When I need a break from work, I pull out my Switch and explore the lands of Hyrule in Breath of the Wild!
And when the weather's really nice, I like riding through neighborhoods and exploring different parts of the city.
